Carmine D’Aloisio is President of DALOISIO GLOBAL, a business consultancy to international companies, economic development organizations, associations, and government agencies. A former U.S. diplomat in Europe, East and South Asia, and the Middle East, Mr. D’Aloisio brings four decades (including 35 years in government) of commercial advocacy, business development, and management of export promotion programs overseas and in Washington, DC.
In government Mr. D’Aloisio served as the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Senior Commercial Officer for Europe where he established, evangelized and led CS Europe – an innovative regional field organization based out of Rome with more than 200 trade specialists at Embassies in 22 European countries promoting U.S. exports and reverse investment and protecting U.S. economic interests abroad. Earlier he led U.S. Embassy and Consulate trade promotion and commercial diplomacy teams in India, South Korea, The Philippines, Thailand, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Italy. He served twice in Washington as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Operations, where he managed U.S. Commercial Service Operations in more than 80 foreign markets.
In addition, Mr. D’Aloisio is a Senior Advisor at the Transnational Strategy Group, a commercial, economic/political and policy consultancy providing services to the private sector and sovereign government clients. He has executed special projects for trade associations and government agencies. This included the American Academy of Diplomacy report for the State and Commerce Departments that assessed the future of U.S. Commercial Diplomacy. He also assisted in organizing an Industry 4.0 initiative to connect leading American universities with Italian manufacturing firms and strengthen trans-Atlantic commercial partnerships.
Mr. D’Aloisio earned his M.A. in International Relations from American University and his B.A in History from Suffolk University.

Laura Hill is the Head of Corporate Operations at EquiFi PBC, a specialty finance company in the home equity sharing space that is displacing the use of debt with equity co-investments in owner-occupied homes. She is also one of the founding members and General Partner at Opus8 Phoenix Fund, an early stage tech investment firm designed for immigrants, women and other traditionally underserved founders.
Ms. Hill started out her career at the United Nations, Peacekeeping Missions Field Budget and Finance In New York City, where she supported the preparation of the $1.7B budget proposal for the Darfur operation. She then joined the Inter-American Development Bank Integration and Trade Department, where she focused on trade agreements data analysis of the annual $350T export/import transactions of goods between US and Latin America. Subsequently, she joined PwC, where she worked for 5+ years, as a management consultant specialized in consumer lending, working with clients such as SoFi, LendingClub, and Prosper. She was consistently rated an outstanding performer and won several awards, in recognition of her thought leadership contributions to the practice.
Ms. Hill received her bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Università Luigi Bocconi in Milan, the premier Italian business school. In addition, she obtained her master’s degree in Finance from University of Buckingham, and she holds a PMP® certification. She is a Coach, Advisor and Anchor of the CONNECTpreneur Community and serves several local non-profits in a board member capacity, including the Women Impact Investing Network.

She began her career at the American Embassy US Department of Commerce office in New Delhi, where she provided business advisory and advocacy support to US companies in a broad range of sectors. She is a recipient of the prestigious Bronze Medal from the US Secretary of Commerce and an International Award for Leadership, Innovation, and Excellence from India’s Institute of Economic Studies.
Ms. Nair received her Bachelor of Business Management from Delhi University. In addition, she has Post-Graduation Specialization in Journalism, Public Relations & Mass Communication from the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Sadar Patel College of Engineering. She is certified in international business consulting from the Commercial Service Institute. She serves as Chairperson of the Energy Committee at The American Chamber of Commerce in India. She also is the Chairperson of the US – India Energy Cooperation Bilateral Program.
